Buying bird's nest in Quang Ninh: for people in Ha Long, Cam Pha, Mong Cai and tourists — how to buy safely.

Quang Ninh has both large urban populations (Ha Long, Cam Pha, Uong Bi, Mong Cai…) and receives many tourists each year, so the demand for buying bird's nest as gifts, presents, and for family use is quite diverse. However, buying in tourist areas or purchasing from afar both have their own risks. This article provides guidance for both groups: residents of Quang Ninh and visitors. Yến Sào Quang Minh is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City and ships to other provinces via a shipping service; the article does not mention any stores in Quang Ninh.

Call 0963 11 59 52 (Ms La) or message via Zalo, stating the delivery address (for example Ha Long, Cam Pha, Mong Cai) and the desired delivery time.
Transfer according to the confirmed information (for customers outside a 5 km radius from the store, transfer 100% of the order value); the company hires a shipping unit, with fees announced by area.
Check the goods and record a video upon receipt; products that meet the conditions can be returned or exchanged within a maximum of 7 days from the date of receipt.

Store in a marine climate.

At the seaside, the air is humid and slightly salty; the early-year damp season makes dried goods easily absorb moisture. Keep dried bird's nest in a sealed container, in a dry and ventilated place, with a food desiccant, away from the kitchen and bathroom; see proper bird's nest storage.

If you are a tourist coming to Quang Ninh

Tourists are often invited to buy "specialties," including bird's nest, at tourist spots or markets. Some notes to avoid buying the wrong product or paying too much:

Don't buy without knowing: read how to distinguish real and fake bird's nest and how to buy bird's nest safely beforehand.
Ask about the weight of the dried nest and expiration date, not just focus on the beautiful packaging.
Be careful with the introduction "island bird's nest", "blood swiftlets" if there are no records; see distinguishing island bird's nest and Mainland bird's nest (swiftlet house) and what blood swiftlets is.
Request an invoice and contact phone number.
Do not leave items in a hot or damp trunk throughout the journey; see the general article on bird's nest preservation.

If you haven't found a trustworthy place, you can completely look into it carefully and then buy it after returning home, instead of buying it immediately at the tourist spot.
